I think I was heading one direction when I started this and ended up going another by the time i finished. This was turning into a much bigger rant with more examples, but it was getting huge and I was getting tired so I edited it down to this. The big point I was trying to make is that I don't believe government can fix crapdoodle any more and that government getting involved will just make everything worse. Sorry about the confusion.
